Sanwo-Olu Commissions Six Medical Infrastructural Projects At LASUTH

Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has commissioned six medical infrastructure projects at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) on Wednesday.

The commissioned projects were a 124-Bed Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Multipurpose Medical Building; the Renovated House Officers’ Quarters; the Faculty of Basic Medical and Clinical Sciences Building; an Ambulance Bay; a Special Services Centre and a Sport complex all located within the premises of the LASUTH complex.

Sanwo-Olu also broke the ground for the commencement of construction of 11-Floor Doctors’ Resident Doctors’ Quarter which when completed would accommodate 30 units of two bed room apartments and 63 units of one bedroom apartment including ancillary facilities.

The Governor who was represented by the Deputy Governor of Lagos, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat disclosed that the delivery of the modern medical infrastructure projects will further strengthen the capacity of the State in addressing the health issues of Lagos residents.
